The Forget-Me-Not Friends Club is open to anyone with a disability of any age who would enjoy receiving Happy Mail throughout the year. Adults who are their own guardians and are 18 or older may register themselves. Members under 18 or adults with a guardian should have a parent, guardian, or authorized representative complete the registration form on their behalf.

The Forget-Me-Not Friends Club is a free program of the Forgotten Wishes Foundation that sends “happy mail” to members throughout the year. Members receive birthday cards, holiday cards, letters, and newsletters that remind them they are seen, valued, and remembered. Members may also receive occasional email updates with club news and opportunities to participate.

Members typically receive something in their mailboxes about every other month. This may include birthday cards, Valentine’s Day cards, holiday cards, letters, club newsletters, and messages created by our volunteers.

New members receive a welcome packet that includes their membership card, club information, and a special welcome message from the Forget-Me-Not Friends Club.  In addition, there will be a card made by a community member to say, “hello”, some goodies, and an “I Belong” sign.

No. Membership in the Forget-Me-Not Friends Club is completely free thanks to the generous supporters of the Forgotten Wishes Foundation.

No. The Forget-Me-Not Friends Club is not a pen-pal program. Members receive mail directly from the Forgotten Wishes Foundation.
