Giving Tuesday is December 1, 2026, and we have a fun and impactful activity that you can participate in this year, and you don’t have to wait until Giving Tuesday to start!
Paws for Happy Mail is our animal-themed card-making challenge for Giving Tuesday, and anything goes! Dogs and cats may have the paws, but they don’t get to have all the fun.
Love dolphins? Make a splash. Crazy about cows? Bring on the barnyard. Prefer butterflies, birds, frogs, fish, horses, turtles, elephants—or even dinosaurs? Pick an animal that makes you smile and let it inspire your card.
Grab your favorite animal stickers, draw some paw prints, add colorful washi tape, stamps, markers, or doodles, and have fun creating. There’s no “right” animal, and you don’t need to be an artist. If it swims, flies, crawls, hops, gallops, waddles—or just makes you happy—it belongs in Paws for Happy Mail!
Finally, turn all that creativity into a handmade card that will become Happy Mail for a member of our Forget-Me-Not Friends Club.
The Message Inside Matters Most
We love a fun card, but what you write inside is the heart of it. This is where you give a little bit of yourself and create that sense of belonging.
Take a few minutes to write a real note from a friend. Tell them about your pet, your favorite animal, something funny that happened this week, a hobby you enjoy, or just a little about your day. Giving Tuesday is a global day of generosity that encourages people to give back to the causes and communities they care about. Celebrated each year after Thanksgiving, it brings people together through donations, volunteering, acts of kindness, and other ways of making a difference.
GIVING TUESDAY
Paws for Happy Mail Card Making Challenge makes a great Giving Tuesday activity. It is simple to plan and can even be done virtually! Gather your family, coworkers, classmates, club, or a few friends—or make some cards on your own—and start creating!
